Floor pouf handmade from a woollen Handira wedding blanket. These blankets are usually made by Berber women as a gift to their daughters on their wedding day to bring them happiness, fertility and word off evil. The bride typically wears the blanket as a cape on her way to the groom’s house. Handira blankets are made of natural wool and cotton and decorated with fringes and sequins that sparkle and make a nice sound. Our poufs are shipped unstuffed. A wide zipper at the bottom allows for stuffing them with anything foam pieces or shreds, cotton, old pillows, duvets, or even old clothes.

We are committed to giving back to help empower underprivileged females. 5% of all sales will be donated to various community organizations here and in Morocco.

Keep in mind that all our poufs are handmade and little imperfections are part of what makes them unique and vibrant. The pouf photographed is the pouf you get, though slight variations in colour are possible as each screen displays them uniquely. Sizes slightly change over time as the rugs soften and stretch.

Customization

Custom orders are fulfilled at a comparable price to available products, and it still includes free shipping within North America. Please note that it could take up to 6 weeks to deliver the new rug to you. Our Moroccan rugs are all handmade on traditional looms and no two rugs are the same, but customization options are unlimited.

Shipping & Returns

Shipping is FREE for Canada and the USA. International shipping will be calculated upon checkout.

Rugs can be returned for a refund, simply contact us within 5 days of receiving it to arrange it. Return shipping is the responsability of the customer. Custom orders can only be exchanged or returned for store credit.
